THE MAGGIE WELBY FOUNDATION ("FOUNDATION") WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN IN NEED, FAMILIES IN NEED, AND ORGANIZATIONS BENEFITING CHILDREN. THE FOUNDATION'S MAIN FOCUS IS ON A SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT PROGRAM. THE SCHOLARSHOP PROGRAM OFFERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL. THE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED ANNUALLY FOR CHILDREN WHO DEMONSTRATE A FINANCIAL NEED AND COMPLETE THE MAGGIE WELBY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. THE GRANT PROGRAM OFFERS GRANTS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THAT HAVE A FINANCIAL NEED. GRANTS MAY BE EXTENED TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN NEED OF HELP WITH BILLS, ATHLETICE OPPORTUNITIES, OR MEDICAL NEEDS. ALL GRANTS AWARDED FOR A FAMILY ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE SPECIFIC ORGANIATION FOR WHICH THE GRANT WAS APPLIED. ORGANIZATIONS THAT DIRECTLY BENEFIT CHILDREN CAN ALSO RECEIVE GRANTS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.
