Last week, we hosted our first-ever WPY Summer Internship Program Networking event! More than 40 students stayed after school to network with some of this summer's employer partners. Students learned about prospective careers in finance, education, journalism, mental health, healthcare, business, and more. It's not too late to host an intern this summer! Waltham Partnership For Youth Building a Community of Belonging and Opportunity for All Waltham Youth We collaborate with youth families and partner organizations to address longstanding systemic inequities while building a community of belonging and opportunity for Waltham youth. Closing the Opportunity Gap We address the opportunity gap for young people in Waltham by connecting them with the incredible resources in our community and fostering a sense of belonging that enables them to thrive. Our Growing Impact We work with more than 600 students each year providing meaningful paid internships and other professional development opportunities and leveraging inschool and outofschool resources for newcomer Spanishspeaking students and families. Career Exploration Training We facilitate meaningful paid internships and other professional development for more than 150 students per year.
