Closing the Opportunity Gap We address the opportunity gap for young people in Waltham by connecting them with the incredible resources in our community and fostering a sense of belonging that enables them to thrive. Our Growing Impact We work with more than 600 students each year providing meaningful paid internships and other professional development opportunities and leveraging inschool and outofschool resources for newcomer Spanishspeaking students and families. Career Exploration Training We facilitate meaningful paid internships and other professional development for more than 150 students per year.

Last week, we hosted our first-ever WPY Summer Internship Program Networking event. More than 40 students stayed after school to network with some of this summer's employer partners. Students learned about prospective careers in finance, education, journalism, mental health, healthcare, business, and more.

Register today for our 2025 Partner Celebration on Wednesday, May 28th from 5:00-7:00pm at Bentley University. This event features a short, inspiring program, including a student speaker and keynote speaker. Funds raised from the event are an important part of our annual budget, enabling WPY to run programs for over 600 local students per year.
