We are very excited to see the expansion of our neighbor! Congratulations! Big News: A New Name, the Same Mission! We’re thrilled to announce that Preservation Burlington is beginning an exciting new chapter—becoming Preservation Alamance! While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: to Preserve, Educate, and Involve. This rebrand reflects our growing county-wide focus and deep commitment to serving all of Alamance County. As part of this evolution, we’re expanding popular programs—like our Historic Property Grant Program—to include more communities across the county. Though the full transition will take effect in early 2026, we couldn’t wait to share the news—and debut our new logo—with you, our dedicated supporters. (fb)

Textile Heritage Museum 2406 Glencoe Street Burlington NC 27217 About Us The museum is open TuesdaySaturday 9am5pm and closed on most major government holidays including New Years Martin Luther King Jr. Good Friday Memorial Day Independence Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving extended days Christmas extended days. In the event of inclement weather please contact the museum to confirm operating hours. Admission to the museum is FREE donations graciously accepted.
