The only national non-profit focused on funding #BreastReconstruction for uninsured and underinsured #BreastCancerSurvivors #makingwomenwholeagain The purpose of My Hope Chest is to help restore self-esteem, dignity and confidence to breast cancer survivors by facilitating and funding, as needed, reconstructive surgery for those who do not have adequate financial means to afford such surgery and to educate survivors on their breast reconstruction options. In 2016, due to many referrals, we amended our granting criteria to include assisting with limited medical and non-medical bills for women in active treatment.

In 2023 My Hope Chest and I celebrated 20 yearsdedicated to filling the gap in breast cancer treatment providing reconstructive surgery and breast cancer financial assistance for uninsured and underinsured breast cancer survivors. Our mission picks up where all others leave off providing the final step in breast cancer treatment.
