Medical Missions for Children Missions for Children, Inc. is a 501(3)(c) non- profit organization providing free, quality medical, surgical and dental care to impoverished children around the world. MMFC focuses on cleft lip and palate deformities, microtia (absence of an ear) and sev MMFCs mission is providing free surgical/dental care to underprivileged children all over the world. Our main focus is on children and young adults with congenital defects (e.g. cleft lips/palates), burn scars, trauma and cancers of the head/neck.An adjunct to the surgical care is the education of doctors and nurses from the U.S. and the host countries to which we travel. These healthcare workers are trained in surgical techniques and nursing skills necessary to continue caring for children after our mission is completed.

The two teens began their volunteer experience in the MMFC office helping to pack medical supplies for the missions volunteering at fundraising events and collecting stuffed animals to give to the children.
