Our mission is to meet organizational and training-based standards so as to ensure the proficiency and professionalism of members in the execution of search and rescue operations. To promote and develop search and rescue capabilities and resources in the State of Georgia with the underlying principle of saving lives. To provide, as a benefit to the public, trains canines and trained handlers for search and rescue of persons lost, trapped or incapacitated, or deceased, upon the request of any official agency, day or night under any and all conditions where canines can operate efficiently, safely and provide continuous training and education for canines, handlers, and support personnel to improve and develop capabilities to ensure competent and capable rescue teams.
