Calvary welcomed colleagues from Maison Médicale Jeanne Garnier of Paris this week for a two-day summit, Advancing Excellence in Palliative Practice and End-of-Life Care. The gathering at Calvary Hospital marked not only a celebration of our shared mission and heritage but also a renewed commitment to advancing palliative and end-of-life care, research, advocacy, and education. Maison Médicale Jeanne Garnier and Calvary are bound by a remarkable legacy that began in 1842, when Jeanne Garnier founded the Dames du Calvaire to care for those facing the end of life with dignity and compassion.
