Mission StatementThe Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust is an educational, cultural organization that preserves and transmits the legacy of renowned physician-scientist Wilhelm Reich, M.D. (1897-1957), assisting the public and future generations to understand his contribution to various areas of knowledge and thereby to benefit from it. This mission is fulfilled through the protection of Reich's archives at the Countway Library of Medicine at Harvard University, the world-wide publication of his work, its legal protection, and the programs and activities of the Wilhelm Reich Museum in Rangeley, Maine which sponsors conferences on social and scientific subjects, operates year-round nature programs and recreational activities relevant to the Maine environment, and is an historic site exhibiting works of art, literature, and science.It is also devoted to the well-being of infants and children.
