Special Blessings offers Support, Educational, and Fun activities for families of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our Support Group brings “seasoned" parents alongside parents with newly diagnosed or younger children. We occasionally offer workshops that assist parents on their educational journey.Our Family Fun Group meets for activities such as: roller skating, bowling, and park visits. Our families have enjoyed visits to the North Carolina Zoo, Fort Fisher Aquarium, and our annual visits to Museums and local Historic sites. Our future goal will be to provide permanent housing to adults with disabilities through our Homeward Bound program.By providing families with information and knowledge, it will empower them to help their children grow to their fullest potential.Special Blessings is an all volunteer Nonprofit Organization that serves families that reside in North Carolina.
