Smiling Kids

Smiling Kids is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization serving children throughout Massachusetts. Smiling Kids was founded on a universal fact: every child has a birthday; however, not every child has a happy birthday. The mission of our Birthday Smiles program is to provide children and teens in-need living in Massachusetts recognition on their birthday with a present that they would not otherwise receive. Smiling Kids is dedicated to providing the Birthday Smiles program as a resource to community service partners throughout the state. To create ongoing "smiles" our mission is to annually renew and grow our base of community partners. Smiling Kids is unique in that fully 100 percent of donations and contributions go toward providing birthday presents and other assistance to local children in need. The organization?s staff -including its president¡-is comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers, with operating expenses funded out of a separate fund established by generous private donors. Based in Boston's MetroWest area, Smiling Kids aims to: - Brings smiles to the faces of children in need - Apply 100 percent of all contributions to serving children - Promote charitable giving among Massachusetts youth - Expand its services to a larger geographic area in order to serve more children throughout Massachusetts
