Webb seniors, John Feleciano, Luke Foye, and Tyler Zylinski took on the challenge of modernizing ship design with their thesis: “The Development of a Modern Hull Form Series in the Robinson Model Basin.” With guidance from Professor Bradley Golden and Professor Richard Royce, the team designed and built a parent model inspired by a 16,000 TEU containership, complete with an implicit bulbous bow.
