Our goal is to cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in time to save Charley's life and the lives of thousands of boys like him. CHARLEY'S FUND, INC. WAS FORMED FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF RAISING MONEY TO FUND A CURE OR TREATMENT FOR DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY. THE PURPOSE OF CHARLEY'S FUND, INC. IS BEING ACHIEVED BY MAKING STRATEGIC GRANTS AND RELATED INVESTMENTS IN TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH (RESEARCH THAT FOCUSES ON MOVING SCIENCE FROM THE LAB INTO HUMAN CLINICAL TRIALS) BEING PERFORMED BY LEADING RESEARCHERS, SCIENTISTS AND PHYSICIANS WHO ARE PUSHING THE ENVELOPE OF DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY TREATMENT.
