BRAVO!!! For the second consecutive year, New London Multi-Magnet High School’s Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (NJROTC) was recognized as among the top units in the Northeast with the receipt of the Distinguished Unit 2025 award. New London’s unit was also chosen to host the Area One Drone Competition; organize and execute Basic Leadership Training; and mentor other NJROTC programs in Connecticut. Led by Carl Matteucci, Retired Lieutenant Commander and Senior Naval Science Instructor, the 142 cadets were acknowledged for their dedication to the program, service to the community, leadership in school and across Connecticut.
