Using community based, recreational sport in under-served areas, the "PLAY FOR FUN, LEARN FOR LIFE" program mission is to:1)reach young girls and boys, ages 5-15, to give them the earliest possible access to skills they need to lead healthy, productive lives 2)recruit and train vulnerable youth as community volunteers to teach the program, helping build their skills and leadership for the future 3)create a network of country organizations that use a common replicable program to encourage community led change 4)foster global solidarity among children and youth using the common language of sport to support human development, the United Nations Millennium Development goals, peace and nonviolence.
