Vision Hudson Valley, formerly Orange County Citizens Foundation. Our mission: to improve the quality of life in the Hudson Valley. Nonprofit Organization For 50 years, we have had one mission; to improve quality of life for Hudson Valley residents through advocacy and public policy for transportation, placemaking, cultural affairs, education, land use, agriculture, recreation, and healthcare. For 50 years, Vision Hudson Valley, formerly the Orange County Citizens Foundation, has had just one goal: to maintain and improve the quality of life in our community. We are a non-profit, non-partisan and non-political organization that advocates for the citizens of the Hudson Valley by inspiring, founding, and powering vital organizations. We preserve our county’s treasured open spaces and help to create public spaces that capitalize on local community assets, inspiration and potential with initiatives that promote health, happiness, and well being for all our citizens. We track the trends and publish a comprehensive Quality of Life Report Card.
