Israel’s diverse Jewish and Arab communities have long lived, worked, and studied side by side. This research highlights how, even in times of crisis, acts of compassion and support transcend divisions. Researchers, led by Dr. Atheer Massarwe and Prof. Noga Cohen from the University’s Faculty of Education , found that study participants used the same compassionate strategies to comfort others, regardless of whether the recipient was Jewish or Arab.
