Naples Pathways Coalition Inc
We advocate for bicyclists and pedestrians, educate road users through engaging programs and events, actively drive change and combat distracted driving, while empowering community advocacy for safer, more bikeable, and walkable neighborhoods. Florida is the most dangerous state in which to walk or ride a bike. Naples Pathways Coalition (NPC) is working for safe, bikeable, walkable communities throughout Collier County. We analyze data and legislation to make a case for roadway improvements or enhancements; serve on key committees that implement change; and attend and testify at public meetings to affect change and raise awareness of issues. When transportation needs are being reviewed, NPC insures that non-motorized transportation is being considered equally with vehicles. NPC is strategically involved in both the City of Naples and the Collier County Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plans. NPC educates all road users - motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians – on how to safely share the roads and laws that pertain to each, through programs and special events.

Unfortunately our streets have become perilous for people who bike walk and run. Distracted driving speeding and decreased awareness of cyclists and pedestrians have resulted in numerous preventable crashes fatalities and injuries.
