The Urban Assembly is a nonprofit that promotes economic and social mobility by innovating in public education in school districts nationwide. The Urban Assembly is committed to advancing students' economic and social mobility by improving public education. The Urban Assembly (UA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth by providing them with the academic and life skills necessary for post-secondary success. We create unique, small public schools that are open to all students, scale up promising programs, and coordinate with hundreds of partner organizations in the private, public, non-profit and higher education sectors.
