👏👏 That’s a wrap on an incredible 2024-25 season! 👏👏 A heartfelt THANK YOU to our 400+ WYHA players, coaches, volunteers, and families for making this year truly unforgettable. From our first-ever in-house Marauder Cup and a record-breaking LTP enrollment, to filming a commercial with Bruins legends and launching Raiders Stick & Puck sessions, we packed the season with milestones. We were thrilled to host girls' clinics with the Boston Fleet —and that’s just the start. On the ice, our teams brought home SEVEN championship titles, including VHL Hockey, Mass Hockey State Champs, MYCGHL Champs, and Lake Placid Champs. 🏆 But above all, this season was about growth, fun, and memories—made on and off the ice. Six WYHA teams made it to the VHL Hockey Championships this weekend, and THREE brought home the GOLD! 🥇 Peewee 1 – Fresh off their States win, they faced a tough Winchester team again and clinched the title with an epic OT goal. 🥇 Peewee 3 – A true Cinderella story! After knocking off the #1 seed in the quarters, they shut out the #2 CM Revs 2-0 in the final. 🥇 Squirt 2 – In a #1 vs. #2 showdown, Wellesley took control and earned a 4-0 win over Waltham. 🥈 Bantam 1 – Despite the loss in the finals, Brookline’s coach praised Wellesley as “the best competition we’ve played all season.” This game also marked the last behind the bench for a WYHA veteran, Coach Lynch—thank you for 13 amazing years! 🥈 Peewee 2 – Gave it their all but fell to top-seeded Winchester in the finals. 🥈 Squirt 3 – Battled on the ice, but their opponent came out on top.
