The Shirley-Eustis House

English country estate. Site of human enslavement. Symbol of the British Empire. The Shirley-Eustis House Association intends to preserve, maintain and interpret the Shirley-Eustis House and grounds to the highest museum standards for the education and enjoyment of the public.  The Association seeks to engage the community in understanding the role of Shirley Place, since its construction as a Royal Governor's mansion in 1747, as it reflects the history of Roxbury, Boston, and the beginnings of our nation.
