A national nonprofit dedicated to helping support America’s maker organizations through advocacy, resource sharing, and the building of community within the maker movement and beyond. The School Factory is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps hands-on learning communities start, grow, and thrive. We fill in the gaps to make learning communities stronger and more stable, whether it's facilitating strategic planning, taking the overhead of financial management off their plate, or partnering with them to build new connections in their community. We work with these groups to manifest the values of inclusion, health & wellness, and development of the full person throughout their lifespan.We focus on working with groups whose programmatic activities emphasize STEM/STEAM learning, creativity, self management, and/or social skills. We work regularly with collaborative spaces, schools, after school programs, and continuing education programs. Our services include fiscal sponsorship, program hosting, and consulting.
