9 Lives Cat Rescue (9LCR) was founded in 2006 as an alternative to the high kill Animal Shelter in Oxford, MS. 9LCR takes in a limited number of homeless and unwanted cats/kittens and places them in foster homes. The adoptable cats are promoted on our FB page and adopted through the PetSmart store 2148 in Oxford. We practice Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and provide low cost/free spay/neuter surgeries for animals of our community members. Our goal is to reduce unwanted litters of animals resulting in reduced intake at the local animal shelter.
