Founded in 1961, The North Shore Symphony Orchestra is Long Island's most established community orch To operate the North Shore Symphony Orchestra, a community organization of volunteer musicians, that gives public performances of classical music of primary benefit to residents of Long Island, New York. To obtain resources to cover operating costs of the NSSO via charitable contributions, program book advertisements, and grants from foundations and government agencies.
