The Graham School went to the zoo! Last week, wonderful volunteers from Neuberger Berman organized an outing for the children to go to the Queens Zoo. The kids saw sea lions, parrots, and bison, and even got to feed and touch farm animals like sheep and goats. Thank you so much to everyone at Neuberger Berman who made this possible! (fb)

Last night Merricat’s Castle School turned into an enchanted forest for its annual benefit and auction. The evening raised funds to support scholarships for low-income children, ensuring Merricat’s remains a joyful and inclusionary model for preschool education. The event was spectacular, brilliant, enchanting, and magical. Everyone was delighted to walk through the twinkle lights, butterfly-shaped balloons, and mushroom paper lanterns that Merricat’s parents and staff set up. Parents and staff got to catch up with old friends and meet incoming parents. It is always especially wonderful to see former preschoolers come back as adults with their own children now attending Merricat’s! (fb)
