Grant Masashi Ujifusa being awarded the Order of the Rising Sun by Ambassador Shigeyuki Hiroki 26 January 2012 Grant Masashi Ujifusa Remembrance My good friend and mentor Grant Masashi Ujifusa passed away on October 21 2024. He was the Redress Strategy Chair of the Japanese American Citizens League and was honored with the Order of the Rising Sun Gold and Silver Rays by the Government of Japan for reversing President Ronald Reagans opposition to House Resolution 442 and securing the passage of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988.
