Remembering the Past Teaching for the Future The Kindertransport Association KTA is a notforprofit organization that Connects these Child Holocaust Survivors and descendants Educates by sharing their stories and Supports and Advocates for children at risk today. Remembering the Past Teaching for the Future In the months between the Kristallnacht Pogrom of November 910 1938 and the start of World War II nearly 10000 children were sent without their parents from Nazi Germany Austria Czechoslovakia and Poland to safety in Great Britain. These children were saved by the Kindertransport rescue movement. The Kindertransport Association KTA is a notforprofit organization that Connects these Child Holocaust Survivors and descendants Educates by sharing their stories and Supports children at risk today.
