Our hearts are with the community in Palm Springs and everyone impacted by yesterday’s targeted explosion at a fertility clinic. This act of violence comes at a time when fears are already extremely heightened for LGBTQ+ people and for everyone seeking reproductive health care. As the clinic, the community, and The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert work together to recover from this incident, we hope it can also be a reminder of the need to reduce the politicization over access to fertility care, which so many rely on to build their families, and proceed instead with compassion and humanity.
