It is also a leading academic campus for the training of health care professionals, and an important research center for studies related to aging. The Parker Jewish Institute is a teaching affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and a clinical affiliate of The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.Licensed by the New York State Department of Health, Parker is a leader in sub-acute care/post-acute care, short term rehabilitation, long term care/skilled nursing, social model adult day care, certified home health care, community/inpatient hospice care, medical house calls and senior care management . Chronic hemodialysis is offered on-site to patients/residents as well as members of the community by the Queens-Long Island Renal Institute, Inc.
