SAVE OUR PANTRIES! Today, New York Common Pantry and our fellow allies for food access went to City Hall to demand $100 million in baseline funding for the Community Food Connection (CFC) program. At the Pantry, we are continuing to see an increase in the meals served across our programs and with food hardship peaking, millions of New Yorkers who rely on organizations funded by CFC will face more challenges. We are calling on Mayor Eric Adams to fund CFC and not take away more resources. Everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food.
