The Ambler Theater is a nonprofit, community-based movie theater that specializes in independent and The Ambler Theater mission is to: (1) Educate the community about the film and media arts through diverse programming to develop a lifelong involvement with the arts; (2) To exhibit art, independent and world films that offer the community an opportunity to experience a broad range of artistic and alternative expression; (3) To serve as a community and charitable resource for the arts, and to promote and effect access to the arts for all members of the community; and (4) To preserve as a cultural resource the historic Ambler Theater in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
