TONIGHT! Join CVOEO’s Fair Housing Project tonight, Thursday, May 29, from 6-8 pm at Burlington City Hall for a reception to close out the Fair Housing Exhibit. This collaborative event, featuring CVOEO's Fair Housing Project, the Young Writers Project, and A Revolutionary Press, brings together the voices of local teens. Their writings on themes of home, community, freedom, and democracy have been paired with illustrations by local artists and printed on antique letterpresses with hand-set type. The result is a powerful juxtaposition of young voices concerned with their present and future, captured through a traditional printing method. The exhibit has been on display in the Burlington City Hall lobby through the end of May. Some of the teens will read their work at the May 29 reception, which will also feature refreshments, prints for sale, and the opportunity to try letterpress printing.
