Bringing History Home | Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum The RotchJonesDuff House Garden Museum welcomes you for visits to our historic house and gardens this season. Reservations are not necessary. Built by shipwrights in 1834 for whaling merchant William Rotch Jr. the RotchJonesDuff RJD House and Garden Museum epitomizes the brave houses and flowery gardens described by Herman Melville in MobyDick.
