RESTORATION OF EASTERN EUROPEAN JEWISH CEMETERIES PROJECT, INC.

Due to the murder of 6 million Jews during the Nazi era we consider it our responsibility to preserve Jewish cemeteries, left to ruin and destruction, by the installation of iron fences around Jewish cemeteries that have no existing fences or walls. Reestablishing the identity of this sacred ground will prevent the cemeteries from being lost to the surrounding forest and the awareness of Jews in Eastern Europe will not be forgotten. Our mission includes the development of memorials, creating an awareness in Eastern European villages of the presence and contributions made by the Jews, and Holocaust education. Toward this end, we consider it our goal to preserve their family names , their presence, and their memory.
