Flamenco Latino

We are a non-profit dance and music company dedicated to developing a NYC-style of flamenco. Unique and original flamenco music with jazz, Latin and blues flavors, based on a 40 year-plus career. Solo, duo, trio and quartet format. Flamenco Latino is a dynamic, performing arts organization dedicated to exploring and evolving the art of flamenco through a unique blend of traditional and contemporary influences. Founded in 1979 and incorporated in 1999, we have become a notable force on the New York arts scene. Our mission is to explore and expand the boundaries of flamenco, integrating it with various musical and dance traditions. We aim to create a "New York brand" of flamenco, characterized by inclusivity and innovation through assimilating rhythms, structures, and melodies from the diverse cultures outside of Spain which have influenced flamenco, and which reflects the evolving nature of contemporary flamenco.
