KidsGear for Baseball is a grassroots effort to help ensure thatless fortunate children in Greater Boston and surrounding communities have the equipment they need toenjoy the great game ofbaseball. History Kids Gear for Baseball was founded in 2002 by the Ritchie family ofLynnfield MA and itsmanagement has been past down through three Southborough MA familiesthe Ritchies the McCarthys and the Secrists. CurrentlyJeffrey Liam and Conor Secrist formeror current students at Saint Johns High School in Shrewsbury volunteer their timecollecting new gently used baseball and softball equipment during an annual collection weekend at FenwayPark and throughout the year from individualsleagues interested in donating quality gear.
