SRA's mission is to provide education, training, instruction and participation, in the art of rowing to the youth and adults of Saratoga Springs, NY and the surrounding communities; to support and encourage the sport of rowing within the principles and standards of the amateur rule; to educate the public on, and make available to them, the advantages of rowing in pursuit of good health and physical development; to provide a recreational outlet for young people; and to organize, sponsor and promote participation in amateur competition through regattas.
