🌟 Please help us extend a BIG congratulations to Charlie Parrish! 🌟 We are proud to announce that Mr. Parrish has been named the 2024–2025 TAPPS 4A Linda Wolfe Fine Arts Leadership Award recipient, a statewide honor recognizing excellence in Fine Arts education, also known by TAPPS as the 4A Director of the Year! 🎶🎵🏆 Just completing his 36th year at Lubbock Christian School, Mr. Parrish continues to lead with passion, purpose, and creativity. This marks the second time he has received this prestigious award, a testament to his unwavering dedication and lasting impact on students, colleagues, and the arts community across Texas. Under Mr. Parrish’s leadership, the LCS Band has earned an incredible 18 TAPPS State Championships, setting a standard of excellence and commitment that has inspired generations of student musicians. “It is an honor to receive this award, especially having been nominated by my colleagues,” said Mr. Parrish. “Given the exceptional talent within 4A Fine Arts educators, and surrounded by such high standards, makes this recognition all the more meaningful and humbling.” Presented by TAPPS, the award celebrates educators who exemplify leadership in Fine Arts.
