Our mission is to provide shelter, services, and support to anyone experiencing homelessness in Grundy County. PADS shelter is designed to offer a safe place for people to sleep through the coldest months of the year. Adults & families welcome. Our mission is to provide programs, services, and facilities in a manner that will not discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, financial ability, age or disability. We work to enhance the quality of life for those affectd by homelessness and hunger in Grundy County, IL, area. WE will accomplish this mission through: Creating a center of coordinated resources and services for the population in need. Providing temporary shelter. Developing resources and coordinating with other agencies to assist those in need. Offering hospitality. Public advocacy and information sharing.
