Yesterday, JCIE USA’s Kazuyo Kato and Stephen McHugh met with the 8 Japanese American National Museum's 2025 Watanabe Democracy Fellows at The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation in Washington, DC. The two of them were joined by the National Endowment for Democracy's Technology and Democracy Director Daniel O'Maley, who introduced NED’s work and covered their activities in the technology space. It was a great opportunity to share JCIE’s efforts to engage Japanese policymakers and youth leaders, and details of the launch of a new multi-party Diet Caucus on #UniversalValues in the #IndoPacific region in May.
