🎥 🎉 It's video contest time! We’re looking for 60-second videos that capture the heart of your study abroad experience- whatever that means to you. Whether it’s a favorite excursion, a meaningful connection, your homestay family, a local hangout, your ISP research, or a glimpse of experiential learning in action, we want to see what made your semester or summer with SIT unforgettable. Think of it as a highlight reel of your most memorable moments with us. This contest is open to: ▪️ Spring 2025 SIT Study Abroad alumni ▪️ Summer 2024 SIT Study Abroad alumni ▪️ Fall 2024 SIT Study Abroad alumni Entries must be 60 seconds long and will be judged in two categories: ▪️ Portrait or vertical video – like what you see on Instagram Reels or TikTok (9:16 format) ▪️ Landscape or horizontal video – like a traditional YouTube video or movie (16:9 format) 🌎🌍🌏 Alumni are invited to submit up to two videos. 🗓️ The contest will close on June 8, 2025, at 11:59 pm ET. 🏆️ First-place winners will get their choice of a $100 REI gift card or a $100 Visa gift card. Select honorable mentions will receive a swag bag from SIT Study Abroad. Winners will be announced at the end of the contest and contacted via email to deliver their prizes. Students gain a comparative look at critical global issues in the context of healthcare human rights climate change global cities food systems or death and dying. By analyzing issues and systems from a local to global scale students begin to understand the complexities and challenges of addressing these issues. These academically rigorous programs integrate experiencebased learning through 30 site visits during the semester.
