The New England Ski Museum’s mission is to collect, conserve, and exhibit elements of ski history for the purposes of research, education, and inspiration. Specifically, the Museum: o Collects and preserves examples of ski equipment, clothing, art, and ephemera; o Collects and preserves photographic records, films, and historic documents of skiing; o Maintains a reference library of ski literature, including books and periodicals; o Collects and preserves memorabilia of the 10th Mountain Division; o Maintains an oral history library of notable skiers; o Provides exhibitions about the history of skiing and its imp

We have operated our Museum at Franconia Notch State Park since December 1982 and our Eastern Slope Branch in North Conway since February 2018. We welcome thousands of visitors to both branches each year. Whether online or in person we encourage you to enjoy our stories from the history of skiing.
