Malta, Inc. is a charitable nonprofit corporation founded in 1999 to meet the needs of the homeless in Southeastern Connecticut. We continually pray for God's guidance and leadership in this endeavor. We believe that He directs the resources required to accomplish His goals. Malta owns a four-family appartment building which is used as a Transitional Living Center to provide shelter and Christian mentoring for men who need time and assistance in putting their lives back together. Our goal is to raise additional funds to subsidize this project and refurbish the property. A long-term goal is to establish a Transitional Living Center for women. A capital campaign for that purpose is being developed. Malta's street ministry sends teams into the streets to deliver hot soup, sandwiches, snacks and warm clothing to the homeless. The program has been running since January, 2001. We ask for support in the form of prayer, volunteers, and tax deductible contributions.
