BIHS Thank you to all who lit a candle this season. Special thanks to Julie Fuller and the National Hotel for lighting their windows with candles and donating the funds to our Historical Society. Your support will help sponsor our Thursday night programs this summer. By keeping these programs free and open to all we can ensure that more people connect with Block Islands fascinating past and vibrant stories.

Thank you to all who have joined us over the past two evenings for conversations with Sandra Swan on art making and collective memory. We invite you to visit the Museum on Saturday, August 9 from 10am-4pm for the final day of ‘Sandra Swan on Block Island,’ a 30+ piece retrospective show of the iconic artist’s work, assembled thanks to generous loans from Sandra and island collectors.
