The Alaska Innocence Project's mission is:To identify, investigate and exonerate individuals who have been wrongfully convicted in the state of Alaska;To provide educational opportunities for advocates and for the public that fosters a culture that champions the defense of the innocent;To suggest and implement policies, practices and reforms that will prevent wrongful convictions and hasten the identification and release of innocent persons.
