Homeward works to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness in the Greater Richmond region. Homeward serves as the backbone support agency to our regional collective impact efforts to make homelessness rare, brief, and nonrecurring in the Richmond region. Homeward’s mission is to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness by facilitating creative solutions through the collaboration, coordination, and cooperation of regional resources and services. Homeward serves as the Collaborative Applicant for the Greater Richmond Continuum of Care which includes the City of Richmond, the Town of Ashland, and the Counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, Charles City, New Kent, Powhatan, and Goochland.
