Join us in one week for a delightful spring walking tour to explore Brooklyn beyond the brownstones architectural with historian Matt Postal. Downtown Brooklyn has changed of late, but there are still many Art Deco delights to uncover and discover. Starting near Times Plaza, named for the Brooklyn-Times Union newspaper, architectural historian Matt Postal will explore this lively crossroads, viewing handsome 1920s and 1930s structures built as schools, stores, hotels, and offices.

Join us for our next virtual event this Wednesday, 'The Legacy of Pierre Patout'. A major figure in the architecture and design world of the early twentieth century, Patout is best known for his architectural work, which embodies the idea of luxe à la française. Patout designed the Concorde Gate at the 1925 Exposition, and while we all associate Ruhlmann with the furnishings of l’Hotel du Collectionner, it was Patout who designed the building.
