New Yorkers for Children (NYFC) improves the well-being of youth and families in the child welfare system with an emphasis on older youth aging out of the system. NYFC provides direct educational, financial and emotional support and develops programs to fill gaps in the system in partnership with foster care agencies, community organizations, and the NYC Administration for Children’s Services.

Be A New Yorker For Children NYFC improves the wellbeing of youth and families in the child welfare system with a focus on older youth aging out of foster care and who are at greater risk of adverse outcomes. We partner with the NYC Administration for Childrens Services and across all of our programing we ensure these young people receive the necessary academic professional and personal support services so that they can thrive as independent adults.
