The mission for which this corporation is organized is to promote social, educationa, literary and other historically related activities, to include research, study and analysis of the people and events associated with the period in American history known as the "American Civil War", also referred to as the "War Between the States", or the "War of the Great Rebellion" The corporation will endeavor to organize educational tours of the Battlefields and other related sites of the War
