Advocating for NYCs Children Youth Families CASANYC organizes our community to support and advocate for those involved in the foster care and child welfare system. CASANYCs mission is to ensure that young people involved in the NYC child welfare system have their needs met and rights protected and that children in foster care are moved quickly into safe stable nurturing and permanent homeswith their families of origin whenever possible. Who We Are CASANYC is a volunteerbased nonprofit organization established in 1979 and operating throughout the five boroughs of NYC. We are committed to facilitating family stability equity and justice for children youth and families referred to us by the family courts.
