Last week, BLC members and Prevention staff took part in Advocacy Day, knocking on doors and asking legislators to restore public funds for HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C testing, prevention, and treatment. This funding line was cut by $3 million - a cut that dramatically affects the lives of Massachusetts residents living with a range of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, Monkey Pox, and COVID-19. Restoring these funds will prevent new diagnoses and ensure continued access to essential services! Thank you to everyone who advocated to save lives. (fb)
